That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
EPHESIANS 2:7 KJV
It’s time to shift the paradigm in our thinking about ekklesia.
You can have a great vision of ekklesia, yet it may fall far short of God’s plan for His people. Particularly in the here and now dimension.
Last night at Living Fountain I preached on Emrys ministry as the gamechanger. The essence of the message was that we will see Babylon fall and the Kingdom of God established when our consciousness of our eternal reality as king-priests in the Melchizedek Order is greater to us than any other “reality.”
Ekklesia is not a superfluous thing. It isn’t something we do outside of the mainstream. The reason being it is God’s mainstream. We are not here as squatters or interlopers. Ekklesia is the point. The beast system all around us is the outlaw system, not we who are followers of Jesus.
That truth must shift the paradigm for believers. Who we are eternally must be greater in our consciousness than temporal circumstances. We are destined to rule and only a defeatist mindset would put that off to a future point in time or eternity.
We must discover who we are in Christ and that discovery must go beyond personal applications of victory to corporate expressions of dominion that destroy Babylon’s thrall over the 7 Mountains.
The people of God are to rule over the kosmos. That is not about aggressive political or military power; our fight is against principalities and powers. This covers the demonic and fallen angelic realms but also includes institutionalised structures of wickedness in human governments.
When we realise two key things: 1) Our enemies are evil governmental rulers energised by the kingdom of darkness and 2) It’s our God-appointed role to pull them down in the authority of King Jesus, then we will be an effective ekklesia in the earth.
