THE KINGDOM WE MUST PROCLAIM

I will extol thee, my God, O King; And I will bless thy name for ever and ever.  Every day will I bless thee; And I will praise thy name for ever and ever. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; And his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise thy works to another, And shall declare thy mighty acts. I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, And of thy wondrous works.  And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: And I will declare thy greatness. They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, And shall sing of thy righteousness. The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; Slow to anger, and of great mercy. The LORD is good to all: And his tender mercies are over all his works. All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; And thy saints shall bless thee. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, And talk of thy power; To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, And the glorious majesty of his kingdom. Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And thy dominion endureth throughout all generations. PSALM 145:113 KJV

It is essential that we know this truth deep down in our inner man – that YHWH’s Kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. The word “everlasting” is olam in Hebrew (Stong’s H5769). This means eternal or from the vanishing point.

God’s Kingdom is eternal; it is not subject to change. Nothing that happens in the temporal realm can change this reality of YHWH’s reign because it is rooted in the glory realm.

It is absolutely vital that we proclaim that YHWH reigns and that His Kingdom is unassailable. We are on this earth to declare the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

This psalm is all about this. We are to speak of the glorious honour of His majesty and declare His greatness. I like where it says: “They shall abundantly utter the memory of Thy great goodness” in verse 7.

Not just utter – abundantly utter!

We are to speak of the glory of His Kingdom and talk of His power (verse 11).

We should not be talking up the kingdom of our enemy and his power; our role is to speak of God’s glorious Kingdom and HIS power!

You can have what you say, hence the absolute imperative of declaring that YHWH’s Kingdom rules over all. This is more important than ever at this time, when antichrist powers are seeking to impose their authority on the earth.

When we get into the practice of speaking and proclaiming the eternal reality of the Kingdom of God, we will see it manifest in this temporal dimension.
